Vanessa Pine
About
A graduate in Fine Art from the National College of Art & Design in 2004, Vanessa Pine was awarded a Fine Print Commendation and Scholarship by The Graphic Studio Dublin. She also exhibited in 2003 in the Cross Gallery and her prints were included in the prestigious RDS 2004 Student Show in Dublin, Portlaoise and Wexford.
Vanessa is a member of the Graphic Studio and her work is available through the Graphic Gallery, Under the Arch in Cope Street, Dublin 2, and the Ballyogan Gallery, Co. Wicklow (contact details can be found below). In addition all her work including her photographs, paintings & crafts are available directly from Vanessa herself.
Technique
Using traditional methods of print making and original hand made papers imported from Italy, Vanessa has concentrated on organic forms, focusing particularly on flowers and plants but also their contrast with man-made elements. Her work delves into the very heart of the structure of a flower or plant to reveal its raw power and vigour and the beauty and clarity of its line.
Her creativity is also displayed through her work as a photographer, painter and crafts such as jewellery and handmade cards. Sizes and prices of prints, paintings and cards and other pieces vary from piece to piece but for information or if you have any questions please contact Vanessa.
